How to choose the right course

The education system in Singapore is dynamic and constantly changing. What most parents are unaware of is that what worked for them while they were school-going children is almost certainly obsolete by now.

Many are unaware of the seriousness of the streaming examinations that are "pegged" at various stages of a child's education lifespan. The only apparent "pegs" that most parents are aware of are the PSLE, 'O'-levels and the 'A'-levels. Many fail to consider the Primary 4 and Secondary 2 streaming examinations or perhaps even the mid-year examinations. These are crucial elements that determine the key skills to brush up in the subsequent years.

Choosing courses or deciding on a specific career path may be too early while students are in their teens. Multiple distractions from peers and the pursuit of fads at that age make decision difficult. Many students use good results in tests/exams to equate competence in that subject and use it to "determine" their future choices. All this are but premature thoughts. What is more important is to focus on developing a set of thinking patterns to score well in every subject.

Therefore, the primary aim of our training is to supplement the school's education system and provide a solid foundation for learning for each and every of our student. We help the students develop an individualized study methodology for themselves.
